Andy Bryant is a dinosaur that is wrecking Intel. He should have left a decade ago. He has no interest in technology, probably still has a flip phone. An Intel bean counter from the ‘90s who should be focusing on growing radishes in his garden, not ruining a once great tech company.

Great article and exposes all the issues about the lousy BoD. Without upgrading the board, unfortunately they will continue making poor decisions. Have no idea what they are doing. Just partying friends who are experts in beer pong.

Agreed @ire, it's not a matter of diversity, but merit and skills/experience aligned to Intel's business.

I had similar thoughts about the board when I took a look at it recently. Pretty good analysis, but he certainly went off the rails with his recommendation that they appoint more women to the board for diversity. Do wut??

Can we just appoint the best people irrespective of some "diversity" quota? This is business -- forget about the "feel good" crap.
