Do you still believe in Trump? He could n't do anything to h1b. Do you believe he can do something to curb offshore? Congress is sold out and offshoring or outsourcing is going to continue no matter what..

Yes we do, but offshoring jobs that can be done here (at the expense of losing American jobs) are the one's at risk for financial penalty. Unless Sabre officially moves its heasdquarters out of the country then the pnalities are going to ensue. The goverment is looking at these "tarriffs" for all tech companies. Which, of course, the other countries will retailate by kicking out all American workers in their country. (Poland?). Suspcision is this will occur in about the middle of 2019. Positive thing is that this may help older workers stay employeed longer in America. The thought appears to be that Amercian companies can run a 24 hour call-center, dev centers, etc. here. This should squash the productivity claims cost and delivery savings. All targets appear to India.

Technically, Sabre does not outsource, we offshore. The people in low cost countries are actual employees of Sabre.

Let's wait and see what happens to our stock when President Trump places tarriffs and penalties on all American companies who outsource work to other countries, like India. Sabre will be charged huge fees / penaltie for each job it outsources to India, Poland, Montevideo, etc... It's coming, just don't know when.

Not to mention that Wall Street thrives on layoffs. What's good for the market is rarely good for the worker.

Who is the f* *hole who think that if your stocks are growing is because you are doing a good job?! Really? Have you hear about Enron? The crack of 2008 and all those stuff? My god I can’t believe this. Some people should go back to high school.

lol. stock price is often a reflection of manipulation on a whole range of variables.

People are negative because

A. innovation and new product pipe s---s

B. Sales s---

C. over aggressive cost containment is actually draining and encouraging good employees to leave (in addition to those laid off thru cost strategies).

D. Cost wise. The company is stronger than 18 months ago. but sales, intellectual property, new product pipeline, old product sunsetting have actually gone backwards. lol.. and now the structure of the company is mainly 400k-600k dollar guys hiring 13hr. guys in blr. Very top and bottom approach. (which they will eventually find will not have the results they were expecting). - very sad for a software development company.

Stock price has nothing to do with employee morale.

Please don't get it twisted!! This is about a realistic narrative of history. Yes, it is great if Sabre is growing and we wish Sabre well. However no one is going to forget the many people who no longer work for Sabre involuntarily/voluntarily, as recently as May 2018 (that's just last month). And, we will continue to discuss to be informed here on this post, as this link is about layoffs. Again, no one is wishing anyone any ill-will, but will speak to what has and is occuring. Best wishes to and for all! Thank you!!
