Thread regarding GE Digital layoffs

Securities Fraud at GE Digital

Leadership at this company is hell bent on inflating its numbers using a virtual P&L to count all software sales across GE as Digital. Additionally, we continue to show Predix sales when it's entirely internal billing of the accounts to GE employees. Is management here so incompetent that it doesn't realize this is a walking SEC investigation or investor lawsuit?

If you sold an outage in power and included a fax machine the sale was booked as Digital software

I found myself managing Predix temporarily for a GE P&L before being laid off a few months back. Upon learning of the forced adoption by leadership for teams to migrate projects to Predix, and that the revenue siphoning caused P&Ls to look like money was dropping, causing Digital to have inflated and artificial sales.......I actually prevented so many projects from switching to Predix in an attempt to stop this corrupt b---s---. I am no longer there, but I stopped potentially hundreds of projects from siphoning their money into GE Digital to artificially inflate the Digital division and make it look like Predix was successful. What a damn shame. Totally agree with you OP, this is a disaster waiting to burst at the seems. Predix isn't even a functional platform, basically vaporware.

Considering most of the ex-leadership clowns that created this mess had a good long history at the kinds of cheating like SAP, Oracle, Cisco and IBM it's not a surprise the state of where we are....That purging is slowly happening though. What I am now surprised to learn is about how much of a cronyism good ole boys club the big enterprise tech companies are with respect to shuffling former leadership back and forth through their ranks...

It was mind-blowing to me that my SSO was going to be charged $650/mo for a predix account. You'd think they would want to have all employees using it.

As an industry analyst, this is funny to me. GE Digital folks cut off all contact after we started digging into predix documentation and GED financials...now I chuckle when I see ex GE digital leadership at other tech companies, saying many of the same things and I have to wonder how these people get hired, how anyone can trust anything they say or be proud to work for these managers.

Yup, I understand the SEC is already on it - whistleblower stuff and all that. Part of a broader and deeper look into all things GE. Digital is the least of the problems, but there is always some low hanging fruit whenever software is involved - aggressive revenue recognition ala Oracle and many others. GE learned from the best in the fraud business!
