Anybody get recalled that was fired in 2016. Supposedly Williams employs people in the natural gas industry, brags about it, however at the same time terminates 10% of its staff real nice.

Williams - forever stuck in the business of perception versus reality. Another round of corporate Super High Intensity Training (Sh--.) for all, then shut down innovative and practical thinkers, turn the lights off and close the door. Ignorance is bliss. This is the ongoing essense of what the true Williams "CORE" values stand for - useless B.S. Again perception versus reality.
Information Management cleaned them out. WIPRO Outsourcing Rules!
Chances are, if you took a stand on something different than management, you where let go or "terminated". Too much of a threat and would be considered a loose canon.
It's amazing that the clean out the cancer types, are the ones that are still working at Williams. Great fakers and United Way donors, but their real identity comes out, while they post and hide behind a computer screen.
I wonder if the "clean out the cancer" poster ever took a professional stand for something at Williams when they knew something was about to go wrong? Assume not since they may still be there and quite comfortable.

You are obviously one of the far to many remaining work ducking, credit stealing pieces of filth still hiding in your "corner" at Williams - praying you don't have to actually prove your line of b---s---. In other words "get caught" in your web of self delusions.
The layoffs served many purposes all bad for the shareholders of the company, elimination of older experienced, and dedicated employees. Termination of employees who refused to look the other way ( a threat to management), elimination of employees that have medical problems and firing of employees that where a threat to management because they wanted to think outside of the box. Finally it was an excuse to build empires while stripping the losers of innocent bystanders making them scapegoats. All along pretending it was done to cut costs and pretending poor performers where the victims. Do you really think that would do the right thing and rehire these people.
Complete stupidly to toss employees away like this, and not give them a second chance. Says volumes about the ethics and character of the top players at Williams.

You are cruel. Maybe someday you will be the cancer.
Anyone that was not eligible for rehire, was probably not a good fit and needed to go. Clean out the Cancer.
It was a good way to get rid of employees that were competing for a promotion, then tag them as "Ineligible for Rehire" so they wouldn't return.
No excuse for it, they can or could of have easily recalled many of the fired employees, I am sure the benefits to the company would be great in terms of increased profits. Not to mention it is the right thing to do. Shame on Williams for treating their employees this way.
Nobody over 50 years old, no matter how much skilled knowledge and experience - not to mention loyalty they contributed to Williams. That’s part of the “real” Williams core (Rotten to the Cote) values.
Doesn't seem like anybody got recalled. This lies squarely on the CEO, cannot blame the employees too much, they have to do what their told. Will have to answer to GOD in the end.
