Learning site closings?

@Tl4tMLA-5wbf does DeVry have a list of learning centers (as opposed to campuses)? I can't see where campuses and learning centers are differentiated on the website. Also, is there an up-to-date record of enrollment numbers by campus?

It depends on what is meant by "learning"... As for "blended learning", DeVry has "learning centers" anywhere and everywhere students are.

from @Tq45blJ-ewh

states with no campus, only center - will fall into 2 options.

  1. depending on the enrollment and lease agreements at those centers - 1 center may move to the other.

  2. if the centers operation cost to the facility are low - the centers will stay

it all depends, if the center are consider - individuals or add - on to main campus. but in your case, it will depend on the cost and the lease agreements for your centers. most cases, centers are the first to go - but with all the changes happening...this is up in the air at the moment

@Tq45blJ-1ajf, I'm sorry, it does look like DeVry has a campus in New Brunswick.

I'm still wondering about the campus and center numbers. I tried to get the numbers for Philly and couldn't get a straight answer.

I thought NJ had a main campus (North Brunswick) and 2 centers (Paramus, Cherry Hill). I believe Cherry Hill closed awhile back. Similarly, PA had Ft Wash, King of Prussia and Philly. The original main campus was set in FW, but was changed to Philly. KOP closed, and FW moved its location to a tiny space--I suspect that "center" will close. Now that PA, NJ, and NY are one region, I'm not sure which is regarded as the "main" "campus" and which are centers, or whether those nomenclatures have disappeared...

@Tq45blJ-ewh, thanks. I count about 39 campuses.

What do you imagine will happen in states like NJ, NC, and IN that have centers but no campuses?

NCES College Navigator numbers are more than two years old, and they don't break the enrollment numbers down below the state level. Does anyone know what the numbers are for any of these campuses or centers?

what do you mean....I'm looking at our site, https://www.devry.edu/universities/search-locations.html - you can see Centers and Campuses.

The Centers are consider "overflow" of any main campuses, no need to have these type of campus. These are the first to go - due to size and cost per student
