I have seen employees with twenty years plus get let go and the next day it was like you were never here.
There comes a time in a lot of different situations where it is just time to move on. This is one of those times. If you want to try to ride it out then that is your choice, but sooner or later you will be leaving. Believe this, it will be sooner. When the company tells you are going you are going; better your terms than theirs. If you are waiting to let them make that decision for you, perhaps you should ask yourself why? The time to do what is best for you is now. It won't easier waiting for the the company to cut you loose. No matter how how dedicated or hard working you are there will not be any good-bye parties.
You should have held on to it... The backstabbers who are selling the jobs off to Asia are pushing the stock price up. Boise was a nice place to live, now it is a mini California.
