Anybody knows if there were layoffs at Stantec anywhere else this week in addition to Burnaby?
I'm trying to figure out just how big this round of layoffs was, but there is very little info on it and people don't seem to be too keen on discussing it.
Any info somebody would be willing to post would be appreciated.
Yes layoffs just got real yet again! They let go 19 people from Toronto office today from relatively new people to people who have been with Stantec for more than 10 years. Crazy day at work today, full of stress and anxiety. Accompanied by 6 resignations! The office is going to be pretty empty soon.
it’s happening again - just heard they let a guy with 16 yrs exp go - no questions asked. Stantec needs to pay attention to their reputation before it all goes ape...
