Only worked for TR for a few years and feel totally bemused, let down and baffled by work load distribution, targets and real lack of support from managers. Asking for help is a waste of time. But I do it to cover my back as no one else is. The team I work with are great. But it seems the foot soldiers don't count but do all the solid work. So many of these posts ring true.. there is a widespread lack of respect and distaste for management on many levels.

Welcome to Thomson Reuters! You are not alone - most of us feel that way. Many of the managers are there by default and they all want to keep their jobs. Those that are good wants to get packaged out - those that s---s are flexing their muscles right now. There is no growth or career path for folks coming in. Hiring decision are made based on friendships rather than merit. Different teams don't work together but rather point the fingers at each other.
