Thread regarding JCPenney layoffs

Good riddance

I know that our stock is down because of it, but I'm frankly glad to see Ellison gone.

We can easily recover from this temporary slump in share price if the new CEO is somebody capable who is actually able to turn around JCPenney, unlike his or her predecessor.

I'm finally hopeful about the future again.

Former Lowes employee here...I am all too familiar with Carvin Marvin Ellis. I was part of thousands he laid off in January, right after the New Year. The guy is a complete pile of sh--. He's already finding a way to eliminate all full timers, leveraging payroll, implementing "power hours" cutting, cutting, and more cutting, and making Lowes into a 3rd rate 'home improvement' store. He is literally copying EVERYTHING Home Depot does. Now they have store management wearing orange shoes because "we're walking all over Home Depot"...You can't make this sh-- up...

If you think ya'll have it bad....Lowes is currently actively being run into the ground all in an effort to please the shareholders. It's sickening. What's worse is that he ends his stupid podcasts and e-mails with his 'God Bless' after he spits on your face...He is nothing more than a two faced devil..

After looking at his track record there, I feel so sorry for the employees at Lowe's!
