Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

ATS dissolving ?

Any truth to the rumors that ATS will be no more or strictly contractor company ? Original in house guys will be asked to become contractor and piece work or not have a job ? Directors and management of ATS leaving and going back to AUSA already taking place which is odd ...all these management told all these techs to believe ATS was great and now they are all leaving ...what is actually coming in June ?

From June to October layoffs at numerous depo's and an increase in contractors taking up your jobs This has been the strategic plans to decrease the number of ATS/USA employees. The goal was already set in stone. Just waiting on the scheduled time to execute.

@sleepy tech. You don't know me. I'm not a corporate troll trying to create confusion. You my friend need to wake up and stop sleeping. I've been with the company for 17 years. 12 of them being in the field. I'm just another poor sob worried about my career. Worried about my mortgage. Worried about my family. Trying to figure this mess out.

Dear confused a...tech. I KNOW YOU and you are definately not a tech. You are one of the many identified managerial trolls that try to create confusion amongst us. But not this time. Gentlemen and women. Please learn this and educate yourselves. You've been working for wolves promising and alluding you with similar likeness to what you were used to. It's called bait and switch. Yeah we will give you tuition assistance and a few more stuff you were used to. As long as you freely agree to my bribes of better incentives offers. Then when you fell into the wolves playground ATS he plays you with pure confusion. Now he had set you up now they are throwing you over the cliffs. I'm voting in a union before they push me out.

Here's what I don't get. If they were letting us go or dissolving the company, why would they reintroduce tuition reimbursement? Why would they be talking about career progression and why would they team up with SCTE for certifications/training etc? I'm not a troll or a mole lol. I'm just a confused a-- tech

I took the VRP last year after 30 years with the company, I still have my severance pay till Oct. 2018. I'm willing to work if they re-hire me.
