Everywhere I look, the number of those who were laid off yesterday is reported at around 100. That can't be right, can it? We know how many departments and locations were hit, and none of them were only one person.
Is Viacom trying to hide the actual number of those who were shown the door for some reason?
What about packages? Any mentioning of California WARN act with 60 days notice?
I heard 200 not 100 and more coming...
According to the document that my friend got in their package, it was 137 staff. I'm hearing at least 60 non staff
100?? Well, that’s complete b---s---. I know of 25 people alone (myself included) that we’re laid off. There is no way it was only 100 people.
Same thing happened in Feb. they claimed 100 people and support staff. Not true at all.
