how are layoffs done at viacom? is there a phone call? are you called into a meeting with your manager? they simply come to your desk and walk you out? do you get a chance to get your stuff?
i'm sitting here and stressing out more than is good for my mental health so any info would be great.
a friend of mine had a meeting set with the manager the day before - said 'lets have a check in around 9am' or something; we talked the night before and they realized sh--, its gonna be me' And it was.

Last round both of my bosses got the ax. An SVP and a VP. Their manager came to them for a short meeting in private and they were given til 5pm to clear out their offices. There was also an assistant who got let go that day, He boss pulled her in for a short private meeting then she went to her desk, gathered her things, and left.
