Good people are being shown the door today in droves, and yet the company has dozens if not hundreds of job openings right now. There are 79 open positions in New York alone!!
How in the world is this okay? And before somebody says it's different types of jobs - there are open positions for today's affected departments!
Best believe it’s for the good of the “company”
And the people who profit from it. So basically if you are that person that bust your back to do your job, you will still get laid off... no merits are taken into consideration. So don’t be surprised when person who basically does nothing to contribute to the company is still employed.
My advice cooperate is like high school all over again, so if you are not in the clique..Adios
They can get those positions filled cheaper. Viacom is very unfriendly when it comes to unions, labor laws, and ethics. They hired a new cleaning company in their Hollywood office so they could hire the same people cheaper and cut a few out. They will fire us all then outsource our jobs.
