Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

ENB sells BC Gathering and Processing

This can't be good for legacy Spectra employees on the west coast. Good luck to all.

Legacy Spectra parting ways with Enbridge is the equivalent of taking off an ill fitting bra at the end of the day. Sweet relief!

Despite the sale, the share price is still nowhere near where it was a year ago. The company debt is still a big issue. More asset sales and layoffs to come?

Al should give himself a big award, salesman of the year – they’re probably in the process of doing it just trying to figure out how much it should be

I think it is super exciting for the people going to the new company, they have the funds to improve the business and assets, and I doubt they would have bought everything to just sell it off like Enbridge. Its a new start and a new adventure

My personal opinion is AM is going to continue to sell assets to keep the stock propped up, the LN 3 replacement is a good thing but after being with Enbridge for 10 years I’m honestly not sure what direction they are going but a guess would be to a liquids only business and just keep the main transmission part of the business to generate funds to keep the Canadian part going and if the transmission part starts to drop off I’m sure he won’t hesitate to sell off that part, I’m thinking the offshore gas and Vector pipelines are going to be short lived but again this is my take on this.
