I heard Detroit is hosting over 100 DTLP's at a made in Detroit day. What a joke. GE is in a big mess so they bring in a group silver spoons so the rank in file can put on a puppet show. I am not located there but would love to here how this foolishness goes.

I've worked alongside a number of dtlps as they rotated in SR. About 95% are useless and did little to no work.
Yes my team is doing a demo for them , on which I have been forced to waste half a day per week for last 4 weeks when there are real projects on which I needed to focus!
When they come, do not make any eye contact. They do not like that. Also, do not go to the restroom at the same time. They do not like that.
They are bringing them in to teach them how the greedy auto industry failed ten years ago and was bailed out by us the taxpayers. Just like mismanaged GE, they too can destroy a company someday and go back to mom and dad’s country club and McMansion with their bonus money from destroying others livelihood. GE won’t get a taxpayer funded Uncle Sam bailout though.
