Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Impressions of DB?

For somebody who is very new to Intel (under a year,) can you please tell me what your impressions of DB as new potential CEO are?

What was she like when she was heading Intel's data center business?

Basically, are we looking at an upgrade to BK or more of the same?

DB did NOT further DCG - it was all on KS's coattails. DB will just be more of the same - no strategy and bald-face lying about how bad the internal issues really are.

BoD would be better off expanding their for people who already know how to run a company and not go after the same sorry retreads.

LOL if someone is under a year they would've gotten here AFTER she left for Google

What an idiotic question

She is a better option than Murty. She works within Intel framework & priortizes on the careeir aspuration of capable intellites unlike Murty wgo has brought in inept QC hordes for roles they are not capable of performing. She is respectful in communication unlike the abusive Fatso. Not the best to push Intel to the top again but far better than a BS'ter like Fats

Why do you care OP? It's not as if you will be reporting to her if she is the next CEO.

Quite different from BK but not what Intel needs.

She is very internally focused and surrounds herself with yes men and women. She knows a lot about working at Intel - 25 years there should give you that. She's a good speaker. But doesn't have the vision or the perspective to know how to change the culture at Intel. She might not have been the worst senior exec at Intel under BK but she was firmly in the part of the problem camp vs. someone who was agitating and pushing for change.
