A HR rep at the Ocotillo site said they are planning a layoff, targeting GSM and IT. No info on what the criteria will be or how many people are affected.

They need to start at the opposite end this time and begin the purge with grade 12+. The absolute dead wood retired in their cubicle so called ‘VPs’ need a major flush before they cut more people who actually try to keep the place afloat.

Any idea what part of GSM? I agree there are parts that seem bloated.
GSM is utterly deserving of a good chop chop, too.
I hope IT gets chopped down to size big time. Huge allocation per head and mostly worthless.
Hope it happens, but it's hard to imagine HR allowing this type of sensitive news to slip out.
