Do we have any idea how many people were actually laid off last week? There are so many comments in several threads of people mentioning layoffs in various groups, that I'm starting to think this must have been one of the larger rounds that for some reason didn't garner as much attention as it was supposed to.
What am I missing?
When I was with ADP, excom was asking senior leaders to eliminate those in non-strategic locations and reduce home-shored population to 10%. It was a 4-5 year plan that began in FY15. Not sure of the footprint, but it was approximately 35% of my staff. Implementations resources were being reduced because we were not hitting our sales numbers.
How many were laid off? Hard to say exactly but they still have a long way to reach the 15-20k range targeted to reduce cost. Of course they are hitting the exact wrong ones to effect their short term numbers at the expense of the long term detriment to the health of ADP, perhaps even risking it all.
I was hired at ADP less than a year ago at one of the ADP One Locations. Our department was hired to replace a large group of people who are/were being laid off. We are constantly being made aware that another group is being let go, therefore expect more work from these offices or divisions who are losing staff. I can't speak to how many,but there is obviously a large group losing their jobs.

Proof goes both ways. You cannot demand proof from someone yet not provide proof supporting your position. Please provide proof that these massive layoffs are NOT going on. So prove ME wrong with facts. Apparently you cannot.
By the way, if these layoffs are NOT happening as you claim, then you have nothing to worry about. Everything is then great. ADP employees are raking in the money, have very secure jobs, management is fawning over them. So why are you upset about some comments on this website? Live and let live. However, if the people commenting about the massive layoffs are correct, then you have a lot to worry about. A lot.

The reality is the massive layoffs continue to happen every week, and mgmt from time to time, host conference calls to tell remaining employees that x number were let go today and all in the name of "achieving part of the corporate objectives outlined by Carlos". This is the reality.....that is the speech I heard last week and so it is.

Listening to rumors about people being let go? Ahem, these are not rumors but real employee experiences.
One person left at ADP if these "rumors" are true. LOL! What an exaggeration!

If we listened to all the rumors of the numbers of people being let go there'd be one person left to work at ADP by now. If you don't have factual information keep the hearsay to yourself.
Not 100% sure, but heard 70 IC's were let go last week.

One of the migrations departments got hit today too. In fact, there was a conference call held and the remaining employees were told out of respect for those that got laid off they couldn't provide numbers or names but it was all part of the continuing realignment company initiatives... One never knows from week to week if one has a job....
There were at least 6 in Salt Lake today. Laid off with a teen date of 07/31/18

Don’t know about last week but people were RIF’d today. Know of 3 names.
