Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Title IV Funds

I thought Title IV funds were approved per school, not on a company wide basis... so if one school closes a program or closes entirely without a teachout, title IV funds are not available for students at that one school only.

But if DCEH says we're shutting our doors to 20 campuses, it doesn't affect the other 11.

I may be wrong about that but I thought it was all factored in locally. I believe the 90/10 rule is determined per campus, not company wide.

If they don’t offer a reach out, the department of ed will forgive the student loan debt and that debt would then fall on dceh. This whole thing smells like it’s been b---s--- from the start.

It’s 330 on Friday. If layoffs were going happen they would have already happened.
