Juniper's focus on Security and SDN lately just goes to show that it is trying hard to survive. Trying to latch on to anything that sticks. It is sad that a routing company that defined the standard of excellence in that space is about to be extinct. This is what happens when companies rest on their laurels for too long. Juniper is getting beat by Arista, Huawei and of course Cisco. Juniper has zero chance for survival with the current leadership team. Zero.

Well, I heard from someone in GTM that they are big changes, several groups have been moved under the CPO from GTM. They also mentioned a change in focus on solutions. The new focus, of course, is strictly on cloud and security with automation.
Another bad quarter can only be avoided on paper, by way of misleading financial reporting and mis-representation that the c-suite at Juniper has got away with for years. Moving revenue and debt around while swapping profits and losses between quarters has established a false positive image of Juniper’s financial performance, however the truth will eventually come out and the entire c-suite will be found guilty of fraud. It’s just matter of time. It’s better to dump your stock options and look for work while you can. Layoffs are inevitable at Juniper and the company financials, when exposed, will bring this company crashing down.

These ongoing layoffs are stressful for all employees, and it can’t be easy for the leadership team either. Lets get this place back on track. HR, please get your head out of the sand and take care of all the complai ts against the managers. You know what you have to do.
Juniper just announced more about EVPN VxLAN. No one cares. No is going to do that out to the campus. No one is doing it between DCs.They keep announcing this stuff over again. Nothing new comes of Juniper.
