Starting to hear that over the past 30 days there have been a significant uptick in sales PIP plans and some sales folks even being let go. These seem to be primarily impacting the new account acquisition (prospecting only) teams, but not limited solely to these teams.
This practice is clearly a prelude to getting even more folks out the door for “performance issues”, yet some of the individuals had indeed met all prior KPIs. Has anyone else seen this practice increasing?
