Next layoff will have a practically no severance, read the policy they sent out in March.
If you got laid off today, you got a more generous severance package.
As far as reference.. BFDS didn't allow your manager to give you reference as far back as i can remember. I'm not even sure how or which company to put on a resume.
LinkedIn is your resume and references.
@cxm - references are kind of a thing of the past. Update the resume and test the waters.
It's hard to find a new you when your current management isn't allowed to be a reference per DST policy....
I agree, much better companies to work for, but for some reason, DST people are afraid to find another job!!! Weird!
dumb--s.. its a job! No employer cares about you and its a big machine.. if you quit you lose out on unemployment and severence you earned over the last dozen or more years.
