I’m in bhm and was told nothing. What you were told in your dept meeting could mean your general area or dept only. The email we received from corporate doesn’t say it’s over but that they “will be implementing a reduction “. Usually the emails mean it’s over but it really doesn’t say it. Does it say in the severance packages something about it running thru 7/3?
I was told it is 10% of the employee base...so this is going to take some time!
And yes, I was one of the ones laid off today....
It will happen until July 3 all week long. I am laid off and reading the severance packet. Don't be fooled.
Is it for sure it is lasting until 3 pm today and tomorrow? QA dept had a meeting and was told for the time being there will be no more layoffs, but still doesn't know what could happen in the future.
DST has always had managers tell their teams when a big layoff is over.
So I'd figure that when you get told, you'll know.

We were told here at the bham office that they will continue until tomorrow too
