Thread regarding AFLAC layoffs

August-October 2018 Layofs at AFLAC

To aid in the displacements elsewhere, that will be taking place in August-October. Move people, erase the need for a backfill. And if it doesn't happen quickly, or on the number's chart they are working with, BIG cuts will happen and they will say, "we tried." Stop BS'ing yourself. Toxic place to be.

I got out too. Best career decision I ever made. Management lies, plays favorites, and then acts like they had no idea displacements were coming. Used to feel bad for the minions, with no hope of advancement, that choose to remain there, but don’t anymore.

Threads like this are laughable. People complain, but will NEVER do anything. I got out. You, well you sit there and "ride it out" but the fact is you sit there because you lack the fortitude to make a change. Or maybe you simply do not have the skills other companies want. Regardless, you go in and smile and ride the backside of a Duck's phony quack.

So glad I got the f--- up out of little India. Aflac needs to stop pretending it cares about Columbus because it does not. Only thing that matters now is the bottom line..

Oh and stop with that lie that Aflac is known for treating employees exceptionally well. It was that way at one time. But that stopped being the case around 2012 - 2013.

Then contact the WSJ and be willing to talk. The only way it changes is with a voice. Coming on this site with "my loose lip sources" don't mean sh--. You can't go to WTVM. Expose the duck with proof and you hold weight. Otherwise STFU

One of the major hurdles to this organization is the fact that is just like walking the halls in High School. Everyone, for the most part, knows everyone. When you have some with knowledge of events to happen that may have an impact on one of their friends, OR kin, spouse, partner, etc, they are going to talk. Words have wings, and those wings are not snipped because of an NDA signature. Those wings spread and fly, unlike the inhumane snipping of the wings in the Amos' Duck Pond at PSA. Look at that pond. THAT should tell you everything. They want to snip your wings and keep you locked in to a role, blind to the fact that at anytime, you can be displace and replaced with someone cheaper. Go walk the halls at ITC. It is now little India. The culture is cancerous; no policy can cover that.

Source of information: Hr reps that still have a High School attitude with information. Loose lips, as they would say, will sink the largest of ships. If you think for one iota of a second that there isn't an NDA project being worked on daily that involves cutting, displacing, or whatever they want to call it to keep their phony bologna ethic's award, you are buying yourself a wooded bridge in a forest fire.
