Severance plan was posted and distributed more than a month ago. There never has been advance notice of a layoff, no exception this time. That said, if you have been at work and paying any attention to recent policy and organizational changes, this should not be a surprise whatsoever. Public companies have an obligation to act in the best interests of their shareholders, not hand-hold employees. Good luck in your next job.

Is severance definitely safe do you think. Originally they were giving us 30 days notice, is that all null and void at this point?

I am not giving any more information because it will void my severance, you idiot if my identity is obvious, or could harm the severance of others in my area. People who do not have options for a backup plan look for honest information here. If you don't work for DST and you are on this page, you honestly have no life and are far worse off than anyone potentially being laid off tomorrow.

I don't work at DST so it doesn't matter. I read these because it helps me pass the time. If someone had legit info they'd offer a lot more details than all this vague stuff that's posted on here. I feel like it's a huge disservice to everyone here coming her for information and they legit get nothing except people just making troll posts that literally are just "guys, it's happening tomorrow. THIS IS REAL"

Its happening. I work at CC Boston and my manager took a box to his car with personal items He told a co worker Tuesday he was being laid off.

There is nothing at my desk that I would want to take home at this point. Cleared out a little at a time over the last several days. I'll maybe redecorate when the dust settles if I'm still there.
I saw a big manager taking home family photos. I think some of them know.
I find it odd that there some of this going on. People saying good bye etc. and they are not even laid off yet! You know you can all meet at the Quaff and say good-bye there if it even does happen.
