Argosy University is nothing but an online school that expects you to take Warm Call Transfers from 3rd party companies that are helping people find jobs. From what I have experienced these individuals are asked if they are open to educational opportunities and have had people work there tell me sometimes they forced to speak with us. These leads are not qualified because the individuals are not technically looking to further their education. DCEH puts pressure on the Admissions Representative to “become their friend”, to build trust and have them attend the school. Then DCEH further more holds Admissions accountable to get them started and keep them in class. This is a time consuming process and stressful because that interferes with “helping” other individuals enroll as well as keeping up with talk time, productive time and other responsibilities that DCEH expects in which they are unrealistic about. If the student does not do well or if something is not done in the enrollment process the Admissons is blamed for it. I feel like Admissions is held to a very demanding and high standard making the job very stressful. The company is projected soon to roll out a compensation plan that incentivizes Admissions to enroll people into class. Apparently there are some new hires that already are being incentivized to enroll people. Is it true it is against the law to incentivize someone to enroll into education?

ALL compensation was banned several years ago. look back in news stories from around 2012-13.
Sounds like you aren’t cut out for admissions. It’s ok buddy plenty of jobs out there.
Mark Fergueson. Thoughts?
Well to put it simply you do not sound like the natural born grifting, heartless sociopath that you should be to do the job, in which case it should be left solely to those without those aforementioned and noisome, superfluous self defeating moral and ethical concerns.
So if telling lies, half-truths and being deceptive is not your cup of tea, could be time to retire and work for a lesser fraud of a company like AT&T or something like that.
So they are just suppose to resign and have no income? That’s pretty harsh.
Well you're clearly very new. If you're struggling this badly on the moral/ethical side there's no shame in telling your manager this isn't for you and leaving. It's not for everyone and is extreme stress.
You can resign.
No one is paid for “enrolling” nor will they ever be (again). If you feel this strongly, maybe you should speak to your boss. If that doesnt appear to be a reasonable solution then resign and find something else over the summer.
Boy what a diabolical hot mess of a tangled web you weave.
This is sick!
For for profits, yes. But AU is now a non-profit so they can do whatever they like.
What can someone do about it?
Yep... but yer a wuss and won’t do anything about it.
