@pgo Nope just people that know what the f we are talking about. It's you that are in n charge of your own fears not us. Believe what you want to. I take no delight in doing this. NO ONE IS FORCING YOU TO COME TO THE LAYOFF SITE...as has been said time and time again by others to others who gripe about layoff talk on a layoff site...

@TKReUDq-pgo, "ES" is enterprise services.
In US labor laws, there is no requirement that an individual be given 90-day notice of termination. If an entire facility of a large size were to close, then US law may require notifying employees. But as we learned from Maria Mann, SS&C expects their lawyers to get them out of any trouble they may get into, not to keep them out of trouble. That’s a sobering thought.
Let's unpack the acronymns shall we? What is "smg" level? Senior Management maybe? What is "ES"? I know these two: FSG = financial services group, hs = health solutions.
I personally can't fathom the personality type that drops cryptic hint like that, and expects anyone to take it seriously. Probably just the couple of trolls on here that delight in tormenting us all.
Up to 25% of FTE and all contractors will be cut over a month period.. DST wants to slim down. All L2 mgrs and their directors have been instructed to provide an excel spreadsheet of individuals to be cut. Some teams will be completely obliterate. After this L2/Dir/abv will be sacked.
Check your labour laws, they hv to provide atleast 90 days notice and severance
Its not just them...may be some one offs for ES for example to and elsewhere.....but still was "supposed to be" initially a large number and could very well be still if you factor in the large groups in fsg, hs, etc. Think their "scare" date change tactic worked though and they got several to quit on their own..who were fed up like me....but they decided to quit anyways..
