He was wrong sale going through. I wish he would get his facts straight.
In 2013 and 2014 WyoTech was still owned by CCi. The minimum starting salary was mandated by CCi not by individual campuses. The campus president could ask for a slight increase in the starting wage but not a decrease. You may be talking about instructor assistants which were paid $15 an hour. Assistants could not lecture or grade students, mainly help in the shop.
I was not laid off so yes they were but Wyoming is a right to work state and if you think that Wyotech did not take advantage of that you are living in a dream world.
You got screwed then because the minimum starting salary for instructors was 42K. Instructors with 10 years or more were making over 70K.
ja42a9-8xoe you are being generous when i was there they had a small layoff (2013 or 2014) and the re hired instructors pay was $35K
Website says "no longer enrolling students." The sad part is that ECMC originally wasn't going to buy WyoTech because they thought somebody else would want it & bid up the price when they were buying Everest. A real King Midas in reverse story on ECMC's part.
Well if he is telling the truth he can claim his 45 k salary if Mattis buys Wyo tech.
maybe a instructor or should i say ex instructor will chime in and tell us what this week BS story is.
We still have a week to rob this place blind.
You are correct. I am in all the "Wyotech" closure meetings and its a huge BS smoke storm. Mathis was never approved, he doesn't have the $$ to keep the doors open on this monster.
It was a good ride. Now give me a truck and a custom car!!!
LOL
Here's the news, by noon tomorrow the last of the students to ever attend a WyoTech will have exited the buildings. Watching the last student walk out the door will be like watching the last Yugo being pushed out of the assembly plant.
We're waiting, where's the BIG news?
