Considering that ADP seems on a warpath to get rid of everybody over fifty at the company (actually, I think the age has been pushed down even further, but let's say fifty for now) is it even feasible for the company to survive with just Millennials, majority of who are not that interested in their jobs as it is?

I heard 70 were let go last week in implementation.
I heard that the June 22 layoff was to 75% of Nationals Domain office.
What location or Dept was affected by last weeks RIF?
There was a RIF last week. I have heard it was @100 people. So I am not sure about the posts here that say it was 300 to 350. I only know about it because there was a person on my team let go.
Does anyone have any more details about this supposed RIF that happened on 6/22?
I saw it posted here last week and I’ve been asking around but no one seems to have any info.
Leads me to believe sometimes posts on this site are not very accurate.
RIF? 6/22? Who and where? They never tell the employees anything... one day you are working with someone on something, and the next day they are gone. Who now?
What departments were affected by the RIF on 6//22.
Interesting since a few months ago mgmt said there were no more “planned” layoffs. I stress the “planned” since that s their way out to use that and say they didn’t lie because nothing was “planned” at the time it was said. They do choose their words very carefully. You have to listen carefully and read between the lines during these town halls.
another 300-350 rifd today. In addition to those done away with so far this year and in addition to those who were in the first wave of ERP exits. All of the reductions add to POS CEO Carlos' stock value. I wonder when the marketplace will catch on to the loss of skilled labor AND the tanking of new sales/retention?
As a millennial I say NO. ADP does not pay nearly enough to sacrifice work life balance to be stressed dealing with 10-210 ADP complex and outdated systems all day and no one young stuck around for more than 2 years including myself when I got offered a job that paid 10 grand more with out the stress. ADP is a terrible company there was no training complex, almost all the senior staff left within a year from when I was there and promoted people that have been there for 6 months to SSS. Everyone is looking for a way out and the cycle will continue. You think anybody wants to learn CCI, accruals, calcs and all that BS for low pay and no work life balance? ADIOS
It is not really Millenials that are at fault, although the lazy, inept, and the ones lacking social skills will make it worse. But ADP is going to have problems no matter from which generation they would have been able to recruit, from Millenials, Gen-Xers, Baby Boomers, or the Silent Generation. The wages are now so low, the learning curve so steep, and the responsibility so high, that anyone in their right mind, no matter from which generation they are from, would not stay at ADP long. They can duplicate or exceed their wages by working at far less demanding work at other companies. Bye, bye ADP.
Those who were offered the ERP and didn't take it must have rocks in their heads - they are on a sinking ship...just saying since I have already experienced getting tossed overboard and would have loved to have received the ERP offer rather than the severance package.
Seriously, millennials are BY FAR the laziest, most entitled, whining babies I have ever seen. The don't do anything, can't really offer any tangible skills, yet cry when then aren't spoon fed. And ADP is banking on them to survive? Worst plan ever.
Had to Logon over the weekend, and needed to be logged in before 3AM to monitor some changes. Good Luck finding someone in the NEW Workforce to fill the void. In the end it is NOT my problem when exiting in a couple months. Thank you ERP!
They should replace the idiot CEO with a lower paid CEO. That a--hole slashes all those jobs because they earn to much and he is earning millions per year. He’s a no good SOB!
Not as far as mainframe programming goes.....as I was leaving to take the ER I had 2 associates ask me what they were going to do without the veteran COBOL/CICS programmers....they don't have a clue how to maintain tens of thousands of lines of coding that makes up ADP's old AUTOPAY systems.
Sorry ADP...you not only screwed thousands of loyal ADP associates but you will reap what you sow also.......Give it a few years, if that long.
