Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

CEO Does Not Care

CEO does not care about employees (despite insincere and hollow comments). Employees are machines to do work and should be run like robots then replaced or moved as needed. CEO believes another 10-15% could be cut without missing a beat!! Other leaders push back, which is why there is a slow rolling chain of cuts constantly.

Don't believe CEO wants your input on the survey. This is pushed from HR and "has" to be done. If CEO doesn't like feedback he will ignore, twist for his convenience, or find "new" employees. He does not care. Work like a robot with an airline operating mentality is all he wants. There is a reason so many exec level people have left or are unhappy.

Finally for those who post on here, please use better grammar. And for those who are racist or ignorantly slam other locations, it would be better if you do go, there is no place for that in the modern workplace (you're as bad as the CEO).

Sean you say you care about transparency and culture,.,, grow a set and get REaL feedback fro your teams not the directors and above, there are many senior principals who fault the current way of management and they are the “fellows” they know what’s going on and despise it. Ask them about security and they will issue a non disclosure before talking. Take them aside and find out the truth versus talking to your directs ... it won’t hurt you to find out the truth.

Unfortunately when 'new leaders' enter the scene, and the only way they think to save a buck is to layoff good people as the answer to an ill run company, is to please keep your own house in order by having a side gig, until they pay you to leave. In the mean time, how about not even sending in a survey, to send a message, since these are not really taken seriously. And, unfortunately, if the RIFs contintue as a means to save a buck, no worries, the top exec will not be there, because at that point it is no longer a smart way to save money. Read Sabre's history of one top exec who ran the RIFs way too many times, and he was surely eventually replaced (initials are WH).

Survey will be used to get rid of detractors..... that would leave about 6 people in the company
