It looks like that last week it was not only marketing that was hit, but also accounting.
This week, based on internal correspondence and emails from those who lost their job, about a dozen employees in marketing and more than 3 times that in accounting were let go.

1) nowhere near the whole Marketing department was let go.
2) the existing marketing department was pretty terrible at their job.
3) as our Focus shifts more and more to b2b, our marketing skills need to shift as well.
