APC is not a good buy out candidate. Too much political risk in Colorado. Also very highly leveraged balance sheet. Nobody wants to deal with either of those issues.
Who wouldn't want us? We have Energenie. Too bad he's not a real genie. One of my three wishes would for sure be a severance package. This place blows. Really went downhill fast after Hackett left.
No sign of a deal in the works in the market activity. Methinks not.

I think this is just something we tell ourselves to keep hope alive that we may one day get a severance package, or work for a company that doesn't operate with its head up its a$$.
This rumor goes around so much it can never be taken seriously. For years Exxon was going to buy Anadarko and it never happened. I worked for Anadarko in the 80's, 90's, and parts of 2000's and the buyout rumor has always been there.
Nobody is going to take on our baggage. We would lose money running a ponzi scheme (which is basically what APC is), much less running a business.
