Scorecards out the window!

Welp, today was outlined on the real deal. Scorecards will be gone and we'll be using a percentage scale. 8 hour tech should be at 100%. With disco's at 4%, trouble calls at 12% and installs at 12% (depending on the install) we'll be doing 8-10 calls a day or........

Trust me Oakland is very happy to be union and now Lodi I'm sure is happy too. To say your just gonna ride it out with out a union and not care what they take from you is just dumb I'd rather have a cba then be an at will employee

  • I'm not "worried" about scorecards. I simply stated they're basically gone. It's funny how you preach the union but not everybody is happy about it.

*It's not okay for FS Techs to continue to be overloaded with more and more work. Either your going to do it, or your not. They'll weed out the lazy ones.

  • what is OSP truly doing more for the same pay? They're rolling out on FS ON call for all services out and down drops. They're the ones that should be catching the outage before we're rolled. We shouldn't be running drops on a ladder at 11pm.

  • Payroll errors? Guess I'm a lucky one. Never had one issue since ATS.

  • Minimizing yearly increases? Don't be a slacker. I got 4%.

*Favorable change to the cable benefit? They added International changes. I speak ENGLISH. Does squat for me.

*I know they are trying to eliminate us. I know they are truly just trying to get us to leave so they can either contract us out or hire BBT1's. I'll keep grinding until the cog breaks.

*Unite and Unionize. Not everybody in those "Union" shops are happy they voted in. Trust me. Some are but there are a handful that wish they didn't. The idea that Oakland is riding the gravy train is false.

okay, let's forget about Dolan. He has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on right now.

questions for techs working for the ALTICE WORLD ORDER

  • why are techs more worried about "scorecards" than they are be about protecting their employment?

  • why is it okay for FS techs to continue to be overloaded with more & more work?

  • why is it okay for OSP techs to take on more responsibilities for the same pay?

  • why is it okay for payroll to repeatedly make errors with our checks?

  • why do they get away with minimizing our yearly increases meanwhile they maximize their profits?

  • they make a favorable change to the cable benefit policy and that's supposed to make us feel good? really?

  • what else do they have to do in order for us to realize that we're systematically being eliminated?

  • at this point, why can't we all just unite and unionize?

They set the standards high to get more work done and make more money. They want more to hire less. Most of the management you have seen including directors and vps know the reality. It's above them. They set a standard and make a goal above the standard so when that goal is achieved they are getting more bang for their buck out of each one of you. I know it impacts quality but this has become a quantity company. The Dolans only set total quality when they were prepping to sell implementing the new meters, the hhc passing, sro 99s, and many other things that were implemented before the sale.

Osp has to complete 6 Jobs per day !!! Complete is the key word .. when a noise job could take hours ... I swear the powers that be are setting up for failure
