I will work as Software Test Engineer at TeraData on Viewpoint product. I am not sure about overall outlook for this group/product and I heard many test engineers were laid off at TeraData in past. Can someone advise, please?

Accept the offer, and take the money as long as it is given to you. The company culture and day-to-day is horrendous but I’m not sure the industry has much more to offer. It’s all being destroyed by the same forces and buzzwords that are prevalent everywhere. It’s sad. Welcome to the team.

TD laid off many QA in the past few months. So it is a risky job. Hard to tell what next ReOrg brings.
