I myself and others have emailed the hotline and raised concerns with managers and either got ignored or told to stfu. When you have 3 blowouts within a month’s time that should have been a major red flag for whoever’s at the top that something’s wrong so why would they be relying on an email or phone call before taking action? Unless everyone at the top is that incompetent which would be no surprise
If this is all true then I can see why the top execs have been getting away from Anadarko as fast as possible. I worked there after Hackett left, and all I heard from my co-workers was how great Jim Hackett was, and that Walker was just a shadow of him. I now understand what they must of been talking about. Also, if the Noble properties were in such bad shape then APC got took, and that should be on the CEO.

In the meantime, sincere question...if you know of or see blatant instances of profit over safety why not call the hotline?
