Thread regarding Conduent layoffs

Overworked employees, gone...

Guys - just an FYI, I know that you know it but here it goes in writing - Conduent's staff essential to completing failing projects are being released without even notifying fellow overworked employees that they will have to pick up the slack for those gone bye-bye. As of now, the HR offices can't keep up with the poor Americans being let go to be replaced by cheaper labor in India.

The morale is so low.....

The layoffs are occurring in every business area where there is a footprint offshore. You cannot think that you will be overlooked for the layoffs. It is in your best interest to find a job/career elsewhere. The lay off policy has a maximum payment of 4 weeks and that is for very long term employees. There will be quarterly layoffs under the guise of budget, there are specific target months June, August and December. Some areas are laying off with no notice to the team members and in other areas the team members are getting two weeks notice. The next scheduled target date after that is April 2019.

I'm not the orginal poster, but I'd say anywhere in the U.S. that is below executive management level.

If you think it is bad now, just give it a few more weeks.

As for failed projects, there are many. The only successful project is the continuing termination of U.S. based workers.

For upper management, that is the only thing they care about.

For all those U.S. workers left, PLEASE look for another job on Conduent's time,

use vacation and if you can swing it, sick time too, postpone as much work as you can and do not be extra careful about anything other than realizing that the end is near and you will need something else to go to.

Nothing will stop the evil train wreck in progress.

Take steps now and forget this horribe company.
