There are 3 upcoming lay off periods, July - August, December, and then April next year. These are based on moving work offshore where we have an 80/20 ratio (80% of work performed offshore and 20% onshore). The first layer of layoffs are focusing on the administration team level (team members processing cases), the next round will focus on administrators and managers. It has to do with your pay grade. Then they will be focusing on contact teams with unrestricted accounts moving them offshore. In the meantime, there are quarterly budget cuts from payroll that each department head is given which is forcing staff to be laid off by the quarter's end. So, this will result in layoffs between those bigger dates. Some of the staff are being given notice and work out the 2 weeks and others are not being given notice and must leave immediately but both groups are off the books by the end of the quarter.

Managers are having to pick their staff and put them on the layoff list. If you are getting any messages from your managers, however, subtle that your performance or actions need to change, I recommend that you find another job.

The severance policy changes with each RIF so there is no guarantee of your severance and as it stands at this moment, the maximum for a long tenured employee is 4 weeks; so, folks will less service will receive even less.

There’s a rif scheduled every two weeks, so according to you, when is this massive rif happening and where? Other than remote workers are screwed, we all got screwed.
