Thread regarding ADP layoffs

If you work at ADP do not go to HR for anything

You can make a report about your direct manager and the HR rep who happens to click on your case will go to the manager without even talking with you to see what going on. I had a manager laugh as the manager read me the email HR sent to talk to me about the issue. I was flabbergasted. I never heard back from HR. I'm not looking forward to my discussion with them when my number is called as part of the mass layoff agenda.

Nobody has to worry about talking to HR when they do layoffs. Those HR employees are like programmed robots who say the same BS to every employee who gets laid off.

When my team was let go we were all tenured and for the most part over 50 yrs old. We got a brief phone call & an email from HR with an email address & 800# to use after our last day if we needed anything. That was it! HR did little to nothing for us. We were told that we would receive a month or so of outsourcing resources - we received NOTHING. I emailed the HR person who was obviously done with me about it & got nothing in return. Useless and after almost 20 years of dedicated service, others on my team much more we were treated like we were nothing - here's your letters that you need to sign and goodbye!

No Confidentiality there! Don't waste your time, besides the goal is to be an Employee Self Service Organization, they want to run you up the flag pole and blow in the wind...

All HR employees working for the company are nothing but salves right now doing all the work for the upper managers by laying off people. Most of the HR staff are overpaid and are not that smart to begin with.

To all the current employees who are still with the company, keep your heads up high and stay strong. There is a competitor out there who is growing and hiring a lot of the employees being laid off. ADP is in for a rude awakening when they start losing more business to other competitors.

I worked for ADP for 28 years. HR is there for management, not for the employee. Anything told to HR in confidence will go up the management chain. If you are an ordinary employee (associate) do not go to HR for anything. They are not there for you. They are there to protect management, not you. They are just a tool and a minion of management.
