This time the SAP team. Gone as of May 1. Outsourced to M-Land. Is the Oracle next? We thought it was finally over, but Giggles & Co. are still cutting like mad. They must be having issues making their debt payments again. What's the matter, too many customers walking out the door? What did you say? Support is terrible? Yes, Mr Customer we don't really care about you anymore we just need your cash.

I give the company another two years, if that, and it'll be sold off. Who'll buy it though? Sad that a company that invented the DR business has been run into the ground. Terrible management decisions down through the years. But, it's down to the culture... No one wants to do any real work. Not the most dynamic of companies to work for.
All hands call today was a joke, management are incompetent a--holes that, let's be honest, are just preparing to sell this place, which is truly f---ed on so many levels. And why/how do they keep hiring these new f---ing VPs? There's a new one every week for Chrissake. Don't these m------f----s read Glassdoor, or Bloomberg, or anything? And even if these guys are illiterate or don't like the internet or don't keep up on the state of our particular industry, all of which are real possibilities, everybody in our industry is aware of the state of this place and talks about it. Must be throwing a lotta cash (and b---s---) at these new VPs. Just wish they would hire more people that do the actual work and less people that keep bankers hours.
Love it. That's what you get when you fire 60% of your sales team. And they wonder why there are no sales???
Just had the Q2 call today. Lots of cash on hand (gee, wonder why?? what's the topic of this board again?) but NO sales (again, gee wonder why??). If something doesn't happen to sales the rest of this year lots of people will be getting "pink" Christmas presents. The ship is still sinking. Current employees are still leaving in droves. Customers know what's up. None of this is good.
Curious to know how things are going in Sungard these days? Any more layoffs afoot?
Agree. Its just about time again for Giggles & Co. to start swinging the ax. SAP and Exchange teams gone. They might be saving up for a big one at the end of Q2.
Brace oneself, we are long overdue for layoffs and I'm pretty sure management is about to drop the hammer on us because I'm getting that all too familiar calm before the storm feeling at the office, although maybe I'm getting that calm before the storm feeling because the office is like a ghost town, last week alone I heard of 6 resignations
Well, they don't have any SAP or Oracle cloud overlays anymore so why have SAP or Oracle offerings? Soon they can sell the windows in the buildings and the locks on the customer cabinets for a revenue stream....
