Did you know that severance is now capped at 4 weeks no matter how many years of service you have provided past 4 years? No company announcement of course.

They are not posting the severance policy. The policy keeps changing with each layoff. The company's attitude is you are actively employed, you do not need to know the severance policy. However, all employees should expect that the severance policy will be reissued with each pending lay off.
They “announced” it at the end of last year during open enrollment. Remember that postcard we received? It was buried in the small print. Ridiculous. No one is safe right now. My performance rating was a 2.0, my merit increase 2.5%. I received MANY compliments from managers over the last few months. It didn’t matter. I am a remote worker and I got the email saying they will transfer remote workers to offices by June 30. Since I don’t have an office near me that I can go to, I will be laid off. Never again with large companies. I’m done.
