Heard it from executive source last week - layoffs ARE going to happen. It is not known yet who will be affected or when, but we should all be prepared for a layoff as part of this merger.

Yes they have been sending people home everyday early for the past three weeks, short term PTO. overstuffed. Layoffs are coming.
fact is, more people are NOT getting laid off than those who are and that is a better way to look at the big picture.

I heard from my friend's uncle, who has a friend who is an executive at DST and they said they had heard the same stuff you guys are reporting, mainly because that executive heard it from another executive who heard it from his manager, who was reading the comments on the DST layoff forum.
you do realize, they need people to work and make the company a company???!!! They are not laying off as many people, if any as you are indicating. You people act like 80% is being laid off. If any layoffs happen, they will smaller duplicate roles. The fact IS, more people are STAYING at DST than being laid off.
