In case somebody missed it, Nielsen is laying off over 700 employees in May and June. Oldsmar and North Venice are being hit.
A few of the lucky ones from those locations are getting transferred, but the rest will be shown the door.
I don't understand why all of those employees are not all given the option of transferring somewhere else, but that's just me.
As a previous employee caught in one of Nielsen’s layoffs, I can tell you with certainty that they do NOT ask employees if they want to transfer in lieu of being layed off! If this occurs, it is not the norm. Nielsen likes to blind side you!
Those being given layoff notices have been asked several months ago if they are interested in transferring. Those that have shown interest were considered for transfer.
Nielsen doesn't want you! Get out while the getting is good!
