This is all great and very clever but I heard there were going to be mass layoffs at my company from a website called the layoff.com and I invite the poster to explain exactly where this particular layoff is. Was it a lie? Why lie about that? Companies don't have leaks there will be a major layoff on Friday and then suddenly change their minds.
How about an apology for the blatant lie? Nope, that won't happen. We will get diversions about SP and bad managers, etc. Liars on this website are as bad as any bad manager I have had the displeasure of knowing. One in the same in my book. How about the clever fiction from the supposed manager that was laying off half his team today. What an elaborate bit of lying. Bite me...

Last month someone with nothing better to do posted Maitland was closing. If this is also a hoax, there will be no point to me, in coming on this site again. Which really s---s because myself and a lot of good people want to provide and share information. There should be a maturity requirement, you need to act like a grownup or stay off!

Considering multiple people have asked what areas and no one has answered I am going to say that these claims are unsubstantiated.

We have been under Sycamore for less than a year so I wouldn't dismiss the idea of Friday layoffs.
I've been here for over a decade and I don't ever remember layoffs on a Friday. I'm calling #fakenews.

Meeting invites won’t be sent until 30 mins before on Friday. They are bringing in HR consultants to help with the already short staff to answer questions. Most severance payouts from January‘s layoffs have come to the end.
Please be sure you take what you want from your desk and computer before end of day tomorrow incase they do anything early on Thursday. Those whom are safe will receive an email around noon for a meeting foe the next steps. Those whom get the notice/package have the option to work the rest of the day to finish up any last minute projects or you can leave when you wish.
This has been decided since the teams shifted last month.
I had a meeting this afternoon with my director and I am also getting cut in two weeks. I have to hand over projects this is why i get more time. But I do have to let two heads on my team go before then. This is the worst part of this job.
