Yes, sometimes layoffs are postponed/delayed, however I'd imagine there are many factors at play right now w/ the whole pending sale. I do not believe there is any truth to the "no layoffs (if any) for at least 8 mos to a year after the deal closes" comment. As an employee who worked for a company that was acquired by DST, I can assure you that we were told the same thing and yet layoffs happened within 90 days.

The deal won't even close until earliest, May. So no layoffs (if any) until at least a 8 months to a year out from the deal closing.
Yup. After they cut all the long timers who complained about everything, they'll sh*tcan HR.
HR does the dirty work and is last on the chopping block.
Shareholders approved the deal on the 28th of March so it's "open season" now for DST s manglement to do what they want to here. Anybody can be potential fair game....you, me, anybody...
