For those of you that served for many years; those who worked late/weekends, those who developed solutions that MADE this company; hats off to you. No amount of severance seems fair. Just know that your loyalty will probably not be reciprocated. It is a formula. You are a number. Ah, but this happens everyday in America. It's a shame. Now, the execs will make out like bandits. It's not that everyone of them doesn't deserve it, but the leftover pieces of pie are cut in varying slices. Whatever skill sets you've obtained cannot be taken from you. If you're a horrible employee or a doosh-bag manager, it will follow you. Good luck to all.

Agreed. The place had potential. They won't use it, so take it with. Joke is on SS&C.
It's funny. I taught myself to use the web tools on DSTConnect and built resources that probably aren't being used by the people still there (thanks to older folks wanting to stick to older processes they were used to), and that was just one of the many things I used to get the f--- out of that hell hole.
The skills you all taught yourselves so that you could "do more with less" are valuable, and you can get the hell out.
