You keep saying DST does not care about their employees, well no sh-- Sherlock, no company truly cares about their employees as much as they do profit. That being said, all of you only care about money as well. Not one of you would show up and work for free because you love your company so much. Quit fear mongering about layoffs. Yes, layoffs happen, they happen at every company. Usually companies use this excuse to layoff the "problem" employees. So if you're a sh-- stirrer at work, be prepared to get cut. If not, carry on. If you're so afraid of getting laid off, find another job. All you fear mongering idiots on here are the ones that should get laid off. You seem to delight in the layoff process. Layoffs are part of life, if you feel like you're going to get laid off, then either accept it or move on already. But posting about how you know this and you know that only reassures me that you're no doubt the village idiot at your job at DST. Life has never been fair, if you see a storm on the horizon, have a plan. DST owes you nothing. Be thankful you have a job and maybe you will valued more.

IMO - Hooley and the rest of the execs have thrown in the towel - 'transformation' was way more than they anticipated, and they have just given up, now could they have gotten more for the company who knows, no matter what you're selling, its only worth what you can get for it...
Everyone gets that layoffs are apart of life. We are not stupid. And we are not all about money either. Money of course is a part of it yes. Without a job = no money to take care of our families. I also do not know what others think of their job but I like what I do, I like the people who I work with and like the people "mostly" who I support. I do not like though the thought of someone else controlling my destiny. That is why I like many others come here. To get a feel for what others have heard and then to verify if true within my own channels. I trust my sources as well as trust I can go to my internal team to verify if accurate and to ensure what people on here are saying is not BS. I can then make my own determination if to stay or leave. But this gives me at least a heads up to look around to see what the job market is like if the "rumors" are true. So please stop insulting those of us on here calling all of us idiots. When you have no idea who we are, what our background is, nor what we do. If anyone doesn't like this site they have their own choice to leave and not come back. No one is forcing you to read this stuff.

Sure layoffs may happen at DST, well they happen everywhere. I agree that companies often use "layoffs" to rid themselves of chronic complainers and people that simple cannot just keep their mouth shut and do their jobs.
Its work, not membership at a country club. If you find yourself finding more negatives than positives about your life at DST, perhaps it is time for you to move on. Always a line of people waiting to take your job, so be careful what you wish for.
