I posted my grievance on this site and I got a raise!
Bwahahaha! Ge HR can't even figure out how to get it's own website to work and told me I did not know how my own states unemployment works even though I have talked to the unemployment commission directly.
Human remains is the teal meaning of the acronym.
@bcb Girl/Man (see how PC is am?!) you are spot on! Those are the words I dread.
The white folder made me blue for a very short time. But it was the best career move I’ve ever made. So glad to be away from the GE joke.
my folder was blue
No bright color folder for me. My folder was white. Name on front in small black font sticker. Small sticker to save money on ink.
HR thinks it is there to manage the culture.
I will help you. I will give you a brand new bright color folder to hold all of your layoff documents. No used folders from this HR person.
I reported my boss' repeated threatening and mistreatment to HR because it was so bad that nothing could get worse and both of us were laid off. GE HR is not there to help employees. They are there to get rid of potential headaches for themselves.
Do not post your grievances on this site! Post your resume on job site’s because GE Power is about to have the reset button pushed.
Stocks drop and so do your jobs (not careers anymore)
So does HR work for management or does management work for HR?
When I reported integrity issue and ethics violation concerning my boss to the local HR, few weeks after she and my boss almost fired me for something inappropriate I did months before. Yepp, she was there to help, but not me.
Twelve words you never want to hear: I am from Human Resources and I am here to help you.
HR ARE HERE TO HELP! Each one of us swears by the hypocritic oath every morning before reading our handbooks.
sar-chasm
(n.) the giant gulf between the sarcastic comment and the person who doesn't get it.
I think this post was done sarcastically--not actually by HR. Everyone knows they aren't here to help...
Aye, and at the BoD they make a nice cup of tea.
