Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Indian IT firms use IBM churn and burn model to layoff 150000 IT workers above age 40

Indian IT firms use IBM churn and burn model to layoff 150000 IT workers above age 40.

This methid wa adopted by IBM from another indian company named Tech mahindra (a mahindra and mahindra group company #M&M) in 2009 -2010 to layoff 25000 employees in India to boost profit.

The latest drive to alter workforce age profile in India was driven by NASSCOM whcih first lobbied on belf of top IT services firms with Indian government to look other way as they impleted culling of older employees. IT services firm paid $100 million to ruling Indian political party to ensure inaction from government. They even showed false statistics by hiring campus hire replacements and claimed benefits for creation of new employment, by refilling just 20% of laid-off individuals.

@SofwG4O-kyr try learning a new language , you will know how far behind you are.

the original poster and raised valid point. the notorious firm tech mahindra is now trying to hire IT pros in USA and the poster is trying to alert the techies here about the nasty practices of indian IT firms. 100000 IT pros over 40 year age were forced to resign in India and not even given basic pay as severance.

There is audio tape of the referred company (tech mahindra ) where is employee is forced to resign voluntarily with in few hours , just as part of cost optiomization and threatened with career derailment. This notorious firm is now hiring actively in USA.

That is the most stupid decision made, does the Indian IT think IT gen z/y will perform much better.. You cant blame them, just look at how they manage their country, I had heard they are on emerging market for more than 3 decades and yet the country is so dull and poor. The retirement age is between 50-60 varies according to country, people age 40-50 is the most experience and still has the ability to contribute. When the d--k head up there dont understand how market work and they want to impress their boss to make their boss believe "d--k story" this is what they normally do. They are many of them in upper position who make d--k decision.

-kyr I'm not the original poster and I'm a US citizen from generations of US citizens, a typical entitled white middle-class dude. My question for you is how many languages do you know fluently? The OP is probably writing in a second language.

Your writing skills need considerable improvement!! Spelling in particular and if this is indicative of the general intelligence level that exists in IBM India ..... no surprise there really. God knows what the programming skills are like. Button up your post and it will be respected!!!
