As a Supervisor at Accenture I can confirm that Enbridge is in negotiations with us to enter into a contract to take over and centralize these operations with the existing centres we already contract for Enbridge.
I would assume as when we took over Enbridges operations, positions will be offered to existing employees to assume jobs with Accenture.
Cannot comment on what packages Enbridge would offer to those that do not relocate and accept.
I have been part of these talks with Accenture. If you are in a UG call centre you have about 6-8 months left.
Find a job now on your own terms.
Enbridge will announce that all Union Gas Call Centres will be transitioned to Accenture by Sept 2018.
Final agreements have been signed. Employees will be given severance or allowed to take on positions within Accenture. This is the same process that happened when Accenture took over Enbridge's call centres.

Why are you all picking on the Accenture guy. he is clearly tell you the truth which is more than the ELT or other VP's are doing.
This is clearly untrue. No detailed planning is to occur until after the oral hearing in May. The no harm test precludes the utilities from having detailed discussion on post-amalgamation synergies.
How do these employees know you are with Accenture? These people probably are already fearing their job loss and I am sure would appreciate a heads up but how do these people know you truly are from Accenture and are being truthful?
So they expect people to move to Thorold, Fredericton or Manila...major job losses for Chatham and Thunder Bay if that’s the case.

And if you are working for accenture did you know that there is a non disclosure agreement written in the contract between Enbridge and Accenture? Maybe accenture should lay you off for violating the contract terms? If you are just trolling, give these people a break by not spreading fear. Besides, if these people get laid they can’t really do anything about it other than being mentally and financially prepared.
