I say backout from the overpriced NXP deal, pay the penalty. Thanks to the tax bill, bring the offshore cash, and pay hefty one time dividend. Stock goes to 70. Stock holders are nothing but stupid a herd of sheep. They will forget the billion dollar savings promise. This is how you bring the pulse back in an emergency room. Recovery and rehab is later.
Agree with the poster 100%. We don't need the NXP deal anymore. There are ways to bring the stock up without it. Let's focus on them for a change.
